Longwater Gravel Co Ltd was established in 1952 in Costessey, near Norwich, by William Littleboy, along with several business partners. By 1960, the company was owned entirely by the Littleboy family, and is still owned and operated by Will Littleboy (grandson of original founder). Longwater Gravel still has a distribution yard and an administration centre at Costessey, on what is now an industrial site where the old workings were.
Monday to Saturday
All of our locations are open Monday to Friday 7:00am til 4:45pm and Saturdays 7:00am - 11:45am.

Orders under 10 tonnes can be ordered online securely, then available for collection or delivery

We can deliver products to a customer's premises, usually within 24 hours of placing an order.

Where Are We Now
Over the years, we have had many pits all over Norfolk, but are currently working on four sites. Coxford Abbey Quarry consists of 400 acres of land which the company owns and has been producing sand and gravel for over 20 years.
Horstead Quarry started in 2003 and still has up to 10 years of reserves left. We produce decorative, naturally rounded, shingles here.
Wymondham Quarry, which we have been running for the last 6 years, is ideally located just off the A11.
Costessey Yard and office is on the outskirts of Norwich, where we sell our own produced sand and gravel, as well as a large range of decorative aggregates.
On a daily basis, we average over 150 collections over the 4 sites and over 30 separate deliveries. We are also open on Saturday mornings.
We have been serving Norfolk with sand and gravel for over 75 years and have a wealth of experience and knowledge to help with any project or requirement.
